Manfrid is a 6 month old Panther, he has the right lighting, water, wire mesh cage and gets fed regularly. His feeders also receive a healthy gut-load and calcium powder before they go into the viv. However, my concern is about his poop as of the past three days. So he has been fed crickets since he got here (little less than two months ago). I decided last week its time to get him treats!! So i went out and bought some large superworms. I feed him a max of two worms a day but usually i only give him one. (don't want him to stop eating the crickets.) As of today i began to grow concerned because i noticed something in his poop or when he goes to poop. Its almost like a superworm husk/shell/outer carapace (I'm hoping that is what it is). Like a small cooked onion? Also today he didn't poop it out all the way with his turds. As i type it is still halfway out and halfway in. My concern is if it is worms or... something else? If it is the superworms husk, is that okay? Will it harm Manfrid? Should i get them softer or smaller?
Please let me know your opinons, so i can get an idea of what to do (as in vet trip?) or what to expect!!
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Laura
