Question about airflow?

I heard that you need to have airflow for cages from a petstore employee yes I know they are not very reliable but I have never heard of this and I cant find any information on it. So whats should I do about this?

Yes chameleons need proper ventilation to keep from having stagnate air which can cause respiratory problems. What kind of setup do you have?

That is perfectly acceptable for a chameleon. It is suggested to have at least the top and two sides made of mesh screen. Although there are many people who successfully keep chameleons in all glass enclosures, it is not recommended for newcomers

I use a $25 ten inch fan to circulate air into the bottom back side if my 2 screen cages which are 24x24x48. I don't think it can cause any harm, and breezes are part of their natural environment.

Even my stick and leaf insects get the same treatment.:D

There is always a fan running in my chameleon room.

Its a great idea to keep air flowing in your rooms as long as their is not direct fanning to the chameleons them selves as may cause respiratory problems from a constant breeze its like a human sitting in front of a fan your eyes water nose starts to drip
