If you are letting the food run loose in the cage then he/she might have a hard time finding it! That would be a better size for an adult. The bigger the better for the adults! Looking back at your sizes....1.5 is that feet? X 70 inches, X 70 inches then?

1.5 metersX.70metersX.70meters would be a perfect sized cage for an adult Veiled. A little guy who is 4 months should be in a much smaller cage. I would say 1/2 to 2/3 the size you want to build, unless you cup feed.
