So, Ive always thought that avocado trees would be awesome for my Jackson's. Ive seen on here that they can be toxic, but since a Jackson's cham is different than the other species, Im wondering if it would be ok.

I've been browsing online and seen/read about them in Avocado trees, not to mention that avocado trees are in their natural habitat (Kenya and Hawaii)

Do you have one in your enclosure?

Thank you.

It's the avocado itself that is toxic, not necessarily the tree.

Also, Jackson's Chameleons do not eat plant life very often, compared to other species.

Im gona go with the avacado tree after a little more research.

It seems like Jackson's have a total different need and tolerance than the rest of the chams, mabe thats why they are known for that Sudden Death Syndrome when they are young.

Im hoping someone starts a Jackson's group so we can share our success stories and do's & don'ts.
