im just curious about pygmies. like damn they're so tiny...how do you even see it? is it hard to feed because you got to like feed it baby insects and insects grow fast so what you do with the grown up insects unless you got other larger chams to feed. and how do you mist it? couldnt like a drop of water just drown it or take it down a branch?

I have a planted tank for mine, the tank is huge for her, hoping to expand and breed sometime soon. the misting I just use a normal mister and she drinks off the leaves of the plants. (i have golden pothos). As for feeding you can buy 2 week crickets from your local petstore, or online. pygmy chameleons really aren't that small, only the brand new one discovered is that tiny!

well i was thinking like the bearded pygmy. so are they also anti social as well? i mean if you have a large enough tank, probably can keep male and female together?

I have two tanks with breeding groups so males and females are always together. The tank has to be big enough and well planted so they aren't always in sight of each other. They're not so tiny that drops of water will drown them - they don't like getting misted directly but I mist mine daily and they drink from the droplets. You do have to feed them small bugs. You can't really ever hold them since they're so small though. They're different from regular chams in a lot of ways but very cool!
