Pygmys gettin busy!!!

I just caught my pygmys getting real close if you know what I mean....lol. I put an Orchid and Pothos in their habitat today and I guess it set the mood. Maybe we'll get some babies out them.

The more colorful one with the more ribbed spine crest or whatever it's called.

Are you sure they are actually mating & not wrestling? From what i have read/been told by experts on here, & other forums. Is that long tail is male. In the pics you posted in the pygmy section, the first (top) pic almost certainly looks male, even to my inexperienced eye. You can clearly see the hemipenal bulge.
Mmm! Maybe i dont have a female after all.

I know what you're saying...lol. Maybe they were just "wrestling" a little bit. I guess if I catch the "female" digging and laying, then I will know for sure. Otherwise I will just sit back and be hopeful.

I think that tail thickness is more important than the length. The pictures we have of the male show the tail off to the side a bit I think so it is actually longer...and again note that it is fairly thick.

Well back to the guessing game. I think they were fighting because I saw the "male" try to knock the other one(the one below) off a vine. And here is another full on side shot of the one that is suspect....

The tail just seems too long for a female in my opinion.
