Pygmy's 2nd clutch?

Hello everyone, do bearded pygmies lay retained clutches? and how long after egg laying can they female mate again? I am interested into hearing what others have to say. My male is interested in her but every time he goes by her, she leaves. I love my pygmies but i only got 4 eggs

No-the average for Brevs is 2-4.

To further clarify; your Rhampholeon brevicaudatus and other commonly kept pygmy chameleons usually lay between 2 and 6 eggs per clutch so your 4 egg clutch is fairly large. I can only think of a few species (Rieppeleon kerstenii and Rhampholeon nchisiensis to name two - there may be a couple more) that can have clutches of upwards of 12 eggs.

i had mine lay a clutch of four, then less then 2 months later she just laid another 4...
