pygmy uv

8 views and not a single input? come on guys help me out here, alot of you are pretty smart on stuff like this! lol i need to know asap, im picking some up tomorrow

Its not just the amount of UV but the specific part of the spectrum that matters. I'm not an expert on the differences between a "grow light" spectrum and the ReptiSun spectrum but don't think I would chance it. ReptiSuns work and are safe. You could use a smaller single tube to cut down the intensity and provide lots of cover.

i will not be using a linear tube for this, i will be sticking with an exo-terra clf for the time being if this be the case. but then again, some sights say that pygmies do well even without uv lighting.
