Article I wrote on UV for birds with applications to chameleons

I was hired to write an article on the need for UV lighting in birds by Harrison's Bird Foods. A good deal of the information is directly applicable to reptiles and chameleons so I wanted to share it here. Of course chams don't have preen glands but they process UVB similarly. In fact, the pictures using the Solarmeter were provided by MissSkittles-there was no need to recreate them as they were perfect!
