Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon – Bearded Pygmy Chameleon, female, six months in my care, can’t be much more than six months old
Handling – never directly, only when cleaning
Feeding – micro crickets, fed 16 every 2 days. After reading some horror stories I am changing that to 8 every day.
Supplements – R4 calcium powder and multi vitamin, the calcium every 3 feed the multi vitamin once a month
Watering – I mist my cham around 4 times a day, never seen her drink but know she must because shes not dead
Fecal Description – poo has seemed normal when I find it
History – owned for just over 6 months from when she was a tiny baby
Cage Info:
Cage Type – glass tank with netted top for ventilation.
Lighting – 2.0 uv bulb
Temperature – temperature ranges from 19 to 22 degrees, no basking spot
Humidity – humidity goes from high fifties to 80%, mostly around 50, sometimes drops to 40 on a bad day but quickly fixed. Maintained by daily spraying.
Plants – no live plants except some sphangnum moss on the bottom
Placement –on top of a corn snake viv, about 4 ft from the floor
Location - england
Current Problem – Nostril looks strange, I hope it’s normal though, but now am worried about little black spots on body I dismissed as substrate, now realize they could be feeder bites. Worried either that a micro has chewed on her nose or she has an infection up there, maybe on her mouth too.
Also slightly worried her species is too small for the vets.
Thanks
