Pygmy eggs ruined?

Yesterday I decided that I had to move my 2 pygmies into another enclosure before either of their clutches hatched. I figured I'd take the eggs out and put them in a container. First, they were pretty much all a rusty brown colour. Is this normal? The first clutch is at about 80 days. Second, I moved them around a lot, which I didn't know I wasn't supposed to do Idiot me.
SO, the eggs are now in a container, but I'm wondering if I should just toss them out. Should I bother to even take a chance that some will hatch? I messed up bad this time, but Bonnie should be laying in the next while, and I'm still trying to get another female. From now on the eggs will be kept as is until they hatch. That was my original plan with these first ones, but it didn't work out.

Thoughts please (other than that I'm an idiot).

When you say you moved them around a lot, do you mean your turned them over? Or just relocated them while in the same position (meaning you didn't flip them) ?

Mine is rusty brown too but it's getting bigger so its okay.

For the future, I've left all mine in situ (in part because Dal laid her first batch way, way in the back of the cage, and I would have had to do a major strip down to get to them), and they've hatched out fine; I'll just find little ones wandering about with the adults from time to time. The adults leave them alone, and once they've hatched, I've transferred them to new living quarters.

That was my original plan for this batch, but it didn't work out. I'll be leaving them as is from now on. This seems to work well for the people that do it.

Ugh. Well, you only have 10 more days or so for the 90 day incubation time. I would keep them another 2 weeks or so and see what happens. It wouldn't hurt to do so and you have everything to gain by waiting it out. You never know. There is the guy who had lateralis eggs incubating for 2 years so don't write them off yet.

What kind of pygmy are we talking about? If Brev , How big are the eggs? They should have tripled in size by now so if they have then keep incubating them. As long as they havnt shrank or burst a bit early then ur fine. I wouldnt worry about moving them around to much just dont rotate them. If you rotate them then there may be problems at hatching. Good brev eggs are VERY hardy though and dont throw them out if theyr still good... ull know when theyr bad.

They are Brevs. One of the eggs from the first clutch was really big, but the rest were all about the same size. None were moldy or really tiny or anything strange. They were moved and rotated. A lot. I'll keep them incubating and see what happens. They're in my bedroom, so if they hatch I will notice babies fairly soon.
