Pygmy chameleon gravid?

We have a pygmy chameleon at the store, we are not sure what sex it is but it looks like it may be getting more plump. It is also dark grey and green sometimes. Females cycle infertile eggs right? It is in a terrarium with moss and ecoearth. Does it need a lay bin like with other species or will the few inches of ecoearth be okay? Under the ecoearth there is netting and then hydroballs. Advice? I want to make sure it is taken care of as well as possible.

Pygmies dont excite many replies sadly

I havent had my little ones long enough or tried any other way then having 3 or 4 inches of dirt at the bottom of their enclosure to help answer your question.

Good luck with your little girl :D

Sorry-I must have missed this. The two inches of EcoEarth will work just fine. You may want to move some into a corner to make a bit of a deeper pile, and make sure the soil is moist or they may not want to dig.
