PVC Pipe Cage

What are everyone’s thoughts on using PVC pipe to build a screen cage? People have done it for chickens and stuff, and it’s cheap and waterproof. The screen would screwed in with the screws that have the built-in washers.

Some people do use PVC pipe for the major structural element of DIY cages - especially outdoor ones. Try using the search bar, there are a number of DIY projects outlined by other members (y) I'd like to offer more specific help, but I am approximately 0% handy and leave the construction part of chameleon-keeping to the professionals haha

Be careful of what type of screen. I think you need aluminum. I think the fiberglass can get chewed by feeders or it melts or something.

Thats what i used. I think its also called poultry netting.

If the cage is round and only 2ft in diameter, you might only need a wood top/botton and it can be self standing.
It’d be a rectangular prism, 30 inches deep and long, and 60 inches high, with an integrated drainage system underneath. Screened on the top, top.
