Pupated mealworms

Hi,

My supply of mealworms appear to have pupated, as my little guy wouldn't eat them. Are they still safe to use as feeders? I'm thinking of giving them to my axolotls, because they're to big for Neelix.

If they are not safe to use, what is the best way to dispose of them? I can't just put them in the bin , as I'd be unleshing a load of mealworm beetles into the area!

wait until they become beetles, then you can gutload them a bit before feeding to your chameleon. (not all chameleons like the taste of them)

or just flush them
