Pulp from juicer to gutload

Just wondering if you could use the pulp from a juicer to gutload bugs? I juice quite a bit and was wondering something to do with the pulp.. Could mix it with some seeds etc and make gut load?

I'm not versed with juicing but isn't the whole purpose of juicing to extract all the good parts out of the fruit/veggie (i.e the fluid with the vitamins and minerals) and leave behind the roughage?

If so, then you wouldn't be supplying your feeders with anything beneficial for the cham...

Fair point but a lot of the time the pulp contains the skin an that is where most of the vitamins and minerals are in fruit and veg..

I used it when my wife was on her juicing kick.:) My roaches loved it but it attracted lots of fruit flies. I think it a good thing to use.

I use it occasionally. I'd use it a lot more if we juiced more. I wouldn't use it as a sole gut load item. When I do use it I mix it in with veggies or fruit.
