Puffy eyes...

Has anybody's cham experienced puffy eyes? We had her checked out at the vet...no infection. Very likely due to low vit A. I gut load feeder crickets with dark green and orange veggies and coat with vitamin powder before feeding...her eyes still a little puffy now and then. Any suggestions?

What brand and type (linear/tube or spiral/compact) UVB light do you use?
What supplements (specific, please) and how often?
What do you gutload with?
Do you have any live plants in the cage?

I have a long uvb bulb in a hood light that came with my cham reptarium setup (purchased from LLLReptile)
I gut load the crickets with the following: Fluker's orange cubes, mustard and collard greens and sweet potatoe slices. I also offer a small dish of dry rice baby cereal and a water pillow. I feed her 2x day and lightly coat her crickets and small meal worms with Zoo MedsReptivite w/D3 (every feeding). She does have 1 live plant in her enclosure, a mini ficus also purchased from LLL Reptile. Any feedback would be appreciated...Thanks

heres what the Kammers use for gutloading and they know there stuff, you need a dry food diet and a wet water source http://chameleonsonly.com/new_page_5.htm

personally though i use t-rex cricket diet to gut load. I feed apples, oranges, and greens for water... the t-rex cricket diet has almost everyhting on the Kammers list for the dry mix....

i hope you get it figured out, wish ya the best on it
