Proportional Vivarium Controller.

:( dang, I was hoping you wouldn't say that lol, I like that led setup, aside from the fact I cant control the cycle and it puts night lights on all night. And the fact it is no where near strong enough for my setup. I will have high light plants and a lot of them (Living walls, bioactive floor) those leds dont put out anywhere near enough light.

Does the controller dim the basking light or shut it off when temp hits?
It turns it off, doesn't dim. You could run the LED's with the system, this would completely turn it off when you want. Hopefully when it turns back on, the LED would begin its 24/7 cycle, not sure though. If you look through their reef stuff, I'm sure they have advanced lighting control, or try contacting them.

They do have a ramping controller for LEDs just not sure what you need. They specify a specific LED for the storm modes. And its a good LED pendant, would cover the cage and be good. Its also 200 each and I would need 2 for the combo cage I am building lol.

Well they just say AI LEDs, then in another place they say AI sol LEDS, which are no longer made so IDK.

I think getting them on the phone would be the only way to figure out the best options. Let me know how they remedy this problem, if they can. I always need more reasons to spend money on my habitat.

Well everywhere I read they say there support is bad. I may do that though, the AI leds are very very nice I must say, so I dont mind dropping the cash on them lol. They are full spectrum CREE leds, the tiny pendant, puts out a ton of par and uses 55ws.

I also like the seasonal settings.

On top of that I will defiantly want the pro so I can monitor temp and humidity of each cage on the fly :p.

This doesnt cost that much actually, the non pro is pretty cheap at 130. Plus if you add stuff, but that is the same price as a Herpstat.

As to it being a Neptune, no its a relabeled Reefkeeper. It is made by Digital Aqautics they are a pretty big deal in the reef hobby from what I am seeing. I have seen the Apex and reef keeper compared alot.
Your right again I forgot I owned a reef keeper system for about two months hated it so I sold it and bought my Neptune advanced system the online FUSION interface was so much more user friendly. I'll keep my eye on it but I'm waiting for Neptune to get there system out. Don't want to get two different systems and I am not getting rid of my tank anytime soon. Hmm if only Neptune had a hydrometer probe I'd just add that on to my current system
