hey everyone, i moved some of his vines and stuff closer to the top so it would be more foliage-heavy but i'm wondering if the bottom is too dark now? or is it fine so he has some shade. also i will be getting more foliage for the bottom soon once i have the money. thanks in advance!

don't remember exactly what it's called but it's the zoomed t 5.0 or something like that
If you look at the bulb it will give you the type. If it is a T5HO fixture with a 5.0 bulb you want the closest branch below it to be 8-9 inches for the correct UVB level.
Keep in mind that the nets at the top are not a good thing to use with chams for a few reasons. They can get their nails stuck in them, They are not easily cleanable so they will hold bacteria, and they do not provide a real gripping surface the way branches do.

Per adding more plants you will need to add plant lighting as well so that the plants do not die off.

This would be a great resource for you to read through and it will assist you with proper set up for your cham to thrive in. https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-husbandry-program-getting-started-with-chameleons/

I would think that mass cane would provide plenty of shade. To provide light for plants lower down, you can either choose low-light plants like ferns, or LED plant lights that provide better penetration.
The latter may take a little digging to compare the penetration of what you have to other options.
