So I really would like to just perminately free range instead of buying a large cage, my room is usually very warm, and I can have the basking light and UVB light all hanging up with easy access to heat. Question is, should I try it for one or two nights? Have my fogger on full blast and just see where he goes from there?

That's great, but what are you going to do for drainage with all that
water every day??
I must go through a gallon a day for each of my 2 montaines!!

I just spent $80 for an xl reptibreeze and made that the base of operations. The doors are taken off and hes free to room, but always comes back to the cage for food and bed time.

Plus what do you do for vacation with a 100% free range?

Mine is free ranged and I left for 10 days. I just hung a large bucket with 50 crickets and he has misters on a timer. Adios...LOL He was fine when I got home, I don't think he even missed me....LOL

How did you have enough water to run the mister for 10 days?
