Proper enclosure for new baby Cham?

My Panther chameleon will be arriving next week and I'm preparing his enclosure. So far I just got the interior done and will be putting on the light fixtures and misting machine in a few days. How does it look? Do I need to take things out? I want to do a real plant but I'm skeptical about it making his home look too busy. Thanks!

I honestly would either get the real plant or put more fake ones in. More foliage is definitely needed, especially for a new arrival and a young one.

I do agree with Andee, a real plant would also help in humidity and will give more cover for your chameleon.
A busy cage is probably better for your chameleon, the more trouble you'll have finding him in his enclosure the safer he will be.
As long as your chameleon can travel trough it it will be fine, besides you can trim the branches of a real plant.

I'm guessing it's just because you was setting up the cage but otherwise placing an enclosure on the floor is not recommended.

Looks good, but quite small. Just keep in mind that he will grow quickly, and by (probably) summer, he will need a new cage!

His cage will be about 4 feet off the ground I just put it on the floor for pictures.

i don't mind having to purchase a new cage in a few months, I thought a too large enclosure would stress him out. I think he'll be about 3-4 months

I think I'm just more afraid of keeping plants alive lol.

In a small cage usually a linear uvb light keeps a low light plant like pothos alive just fine, I have had extreme success with weeping figs and schefflera plants in smaller cages with nothing more than uvb. In a large cage like he will eventually need, you will probably need a grow light.

Ok awesome will look into a plant as well. Where can I find a suitable plant that will be safe.
