Proper cup feeding?

I just got my jax cham a few days ago and I want to cup feed him. I don't know if I should just start putting his food in a cup or what. It's hard to tell if he's eating enough the feeders have tons of places to hide.

That's how I got mine to cup feed and I now feed him that way every day. The key is slow deliberate movements you don't want to scare him off. I just put my feeders in my cup and held it right in front of him he couldn't resist. This is also how I got my cham to come perch on my hand by holding the cup out to him and placing my hand in front of it so he had to climb on to my hand to get to the cup.

Just tried moving in really slow hen backing out and moving out of his field of vision for about 2 min and then I saw him move in on the cup. Thanks for the advice. I'm so happy I know he's eating I only had him for a few days so I'm happy to know he's eating.
