That looks good kev, Pretty much what I do, Except no water source, I just throw in raw carrot.

P.S I also turn the egg stack vertically so most of the waste falls to the floor.

I go to my local farm store and get alfalfa pellets used for rabits and put in the bottem works great for the smell and a lot less cricket deaths

Yeah I keep them vertical now, also. I don't use tubes anymore either. I keep torn off bits of egg crate in the bin in order to shake crickets into my cup for dusting them. And lately I have been using water crystals instead of the watering dish.

That is the purpose for the fan in my bin. I also installed one of those carbon smell absorbers that rainbow mealworm sells on their site.
