Why do you need to shower? Is your cham dehydrated?
To shower him, take your cham with his plant into the shower. Aim the shower head so that warm, not hot water hits the wall, and lets the mist reflect off the wall and onto the plant the cham is on.

I actually just do this with whatever plant I have available:
I fill the pump up with hot water and it sprays out luke warm. That way I only use 5 gals (or how ever much I want to fill the pump), I don't have the shower running for 20 minutes using lots of excess water, and they get more direct spray because it's more gentle. Also much less scary!
