Proper bedding for female panther

I recently inherited an unwanted 1 year old female panther. She's very kind, and very social and seems to be doing well! However, ive been doing some research and I'm a bit confused on the egg laying aspect of owning females. Should I always have soil and sand as the bedding in her enclosure? The lady who had her before me just had turf at the bottom.

That's a great video. You can also use play sand as females seem to like it or some like half play sand half soil. Welcome!
