Prolapse help?

About 30 minutes after my jackson chameleon woke up i noticed this coming out of his bum. I think its a prolapse, and It went back in 5 minutes later but im still really concerned, should i take him to the emergency vet?

He was flexing his hemipenes.... This is normal. If it stays out then there is an issue.

It is understandable. They like to air them out lol. Prolapses are pretty rare when husbandry is on point though.

I’m glad he put his package away with no problems! I’ve seen My Jackson’s do this. It is kinda scary at first but now you know what it is. No worries.

I panicked and posted a thread exactly like this around when I got my boy! Scary, but normal unless they stay out as said above.
