Hello there and sorry your chameleon is having problems. It is possible that she may have injured it, but there is also a possibility of a condition called gout which causes swelling in the joints. Chameleons as you may know will dangle their leg if it is causing them pain. Do you feed your cham alot of protein or feed your feeders excess protein? Do you feed pinky mice often? Here is an excellent article for you to read on gout and another condition called edema. Hope this helps and also hope that it is not gout either. http://chamworld.blogspot.com/2008/01/health-section-f-gout_28.html A vet can determine through blood test if your chameleons uric acid levels are high which is what causes gout.

Thanks for reply!

I feed it grasshopper and 1 mice one a month.

I will read that article before I go vet!

I would suggest an x-ray also to rule out (hopefully) an injury. How much/often does she eat? What supplements does she get?

Great keep us posted! Looks like you have a beautiful Parsons there and I hope it is nothing serious!!! Good luck and let us know what the vet says.
