You should walk around first and see where you can get what you want for the cheapest. then you can also go towards the end of a show where you can get really good deals because the breeders don't want to take everything they have left back home.
 
I dont neccasarily agree with this. You can find amazing chams for cheap.

You can find a good cham for less money if the seller really wants to sell but not for cheap. If you count all the time and money that goes into raising a cham, you know that it's hard for GOOD breeders to continue breeding quality without selling for some profit. What I say is to make sure the cham has all functioning body parts and look healthy, you get what you pay for so make sure it's the best you can get with your buck :D
 
You always get what you pay for bottom line...

yes i agree with rob here. if you want beauty your gonna have to put out. but some chams are cheap and are nice if you don't want size and coloring. like pygme's or flap necks or peacocks i really want me some peacocks cause i just love the green that radiats off of them especially when they are fired up.
