Preparing for new chameleon.

He is eating!! He ate 10 large crickets last night and another 6 this morning. There are another 4 in there for him to hunt throughout the day today. He is really beginning to get used to his new home. Still hates to have the doors open though. I open them as often as possible when I am home. I really want him to get used to having them open and me being around.

Bean is definitely more comfortable in his new home, eating well and quite active. The only problem is that he is still dehydrated. He doesn't seem to drink much, and I am not sure what to do. I mist his cage 4x a day for 3 minutes each time. I put a DIY dripper on top of his enclosure, and I have a DIY rain dome on top of the enclosure. I was hoping that with all of this he would be stimulated to drink more readily, but his urates are still orange. The only thing I have not tried yet is the shower method, but I don't have a plant or anything else to put him on in the shower (and he won't let me anywhere near him).
