Im sure that you all read my preparation on the new enclosure for the new chameleon. Now I'm trying to get my dubias to breed so I can be prepared for a baby jackson. Right know I have approximately 10 females and maybe 4 males. How many more adults should I get to get the colony really going? I know that, from Ringo experience, that they can eat 20~25 small feeders at a feeding when their babies. I have Freckles, beardie, who eats every other 2 days and he eats 5~6 3/4" roaches. Trust me I'm not starving him, thats the way he is.

Im just trying to get prepared.

If you start with 100 adult hissers, feed them properly, provide darkness and tons of heat, you'd have a self-sustaining colony of 1000's in about 6 months, give or take...
