preferred screen for custom made cage?

I'm doing my shoppping and trying to figure out what i need for my custom made cages. Right now I'm stuck with what type of screen to get... Can anyone help me plz

aluminum. You dont want the mesh. Crickets can chew out of it.

Yep... that will work fine. I prefer the black aluminium myself. They have big rolls of it at the hardware store. You can pick the width you need and buy it by the foot

you used the same link for the frame btw.

i DEFINITELY recommend the black as well, even charcoal dosnt look so great.

aesthetically nicer, and you have better visability into the cage.

i got my roll, frame, spline and connectors from a place that does windows. you might want to call around and see if you can get a good price before going through home depot.

yeah that looks fine to me. I think you could use pretty much any type of wood as long as you seal it really really well.. I did mine twice. None of my wood really gets wet though so that helps. Also, make sure you use a plastic/pvc/laminated flooring and not wood.

thats kind of on the large side. you could get away with 2x2s make sure they arent PT.

i recommend the actual screen frame though. the aluminum stuff.

we bought the screen frame by the foot as well and the corners spline and a spline roller to build our doors im goin to try to do a whole cage screen from scratch next
