I make mine with josh's frogs media, it smells tastey, even to humans lol. I toss in 50 golden hydei flies and boom, in just 10 days there will be tons of maggots big enough to pupate.

I also have tons of aspen fiber AKA excelsior. It's that shaved wood like material you find in cultures. I sell it cheap!!!
