so i went to petsmart the other day and they have 3 100watt powersun bulbs marked at $39. i was tempted to buy them because they usually run like $70-$80 there. but before i go and get them do they really work that well?

i buy them from a real pet store for around $40-50 for the 160w version for my frilled dragon.. The big chains want to charge $80 for them they must be out of their minds. I've been thinking of putting a 100w on my veiled.

They work great. You need to make sure your chams can't get burnt so have the bulb at least a foot to 2 feat away depending on the wattage. Sometimes amazon has them really cheap if you look around but the warranty isn't great on them.

if i do raise the light to create the right temps i the UVB stillgoing to be strong enough or shoud i leave my 5.0 on anyways with the powersun?
