Power outage. Est 3 days it will be out. HELP

Hey guys.... so we had some pretty bad storms last night and our ower went out. It is about 55 degrees outside right now and I brought the Chams to my moms house because she does have power. The chams are without (normal)water and normal surroundings. When I left this morning they were about 70 degrees and they are about 75-78 degrees now. BUT I have them in a pet carrier and a tupperware (without lid). With towels on the floors of the temp cages. I ahve to work in about an hour and a half and I am leary about leaving them with my mom. I was wondering if you guys think I should take them back home to thier normal cages. If them being 70 degrees for a long period of time is gonna be better than stange places with no mistings and such. Please let me know ASAP on what I should do. Thanks

At these temps and without direct light they probably won't be very reactive or very stressed either way. A short stay at your mom's shouldn't hurt and you can take them home after work. I think I'd leave them in their own cages after this. Healthy chams will handle this OK. Just my 2 cents.

Carlton's 2 cents is worth a lot more than that. I agree, I would go for them being home. If you can move cages near windows. They won't get uvb but it will warm them up. They will be fine and maybe the power will be on before you think.

what is the temp that I should worry about them being too cold for a LONG period of time. 50's or 60's?

chams are fin down to 60 no problem..its actually good for them..ive heard of ceartain chams going down to 50 no prob, but if they stay withing 60-75 they will be just fine..however they wont move much..
