Pothos plant burning at times

I have my enclosure set up for my 14 week old male veiled to where the basking light (75 watt) is about 6-8 inches above from the highest point he can reach on the pothos plant. My digital thermometer is placed pretty close to where he can get to but not directly under the center of the light and it just gave me a reading of 91 degrees F. I have noticed that the light slowly burns my pothos plant depending on where it is, even if it isn't incredibly close to the light. Is there a solution as to where my veiled can still be on his basking spot without it burning my plant?

If its light causing the burn, dump the 75 watt and get a 60 watt bulb.

My pothos leaves burn on the edges when the soil is water-logged regardless of heat as the pothos can handle quite alot of heat. Just water it every 2-3 days depending on how fast the soil dries out and you'll notice well formed leaves.

Probably not

The light bulb gives off too much heat; plant tissues just aren't able to handle it. The only solutions I can see are: increase the distance between the plant and the light, or change the type of bulb you use.

If you are having problems with burning, it certainly would help to keep the plant well-watered at all times.

It starts off as a small black spot than it grows from within the spot. It really just looks like a scorched leaf and it only does it if the light is on it. If I move it for instance it ceases.

91F is too hot for both a 14week old chameleon and, obviously, the foliage.
Use branches in the basking area, instead of relying on a real plant for the hotest area.
