Potentially some bad news...

Just came home and saw a mashed up dubia in Maynard's feeding bowl. It was a larger one of the small guys I had in the bowl. Looks like he just munched and sucked the juices out if it. I don't think he tackled any of the others. Does he not like them?? I've seen him gobble Dubias down b4. I have 500+ of these little boogers to go and was planning on breeding them... :/

could it have been to large for him, sometimes my guys will hold a big dubia for a bit and then seem to decide its too big and spit it out. then if offered a smaller one they often eat it right up

A friend of mine feeds them on their backs. Their kicking motion to try to get right side up triggers the Cham to feed

if hes ate them before its not a taste issue maybe it was to big, but only concern id have is how long before he tries them again, the experience of choking a little may turn him off. offer smaller ones only for awhile mixed with your other feeders see if he picks the other stuff out.

Quick question. Did you dust them?
One of my Chams will not take another Dubia if he tries one that has been dusted. Undusted , he will eat the whole lot. I just toss in a few lightly dusted crix so he gets his meds.

I had some loose that were dusted and then the ones in the bowl were not. The one I saw chewed up was bigger, so might have been a dusted dubia...

It could have simply slipped out on accident. Since they usually sit and chew them for awhile(especialy the bigger ones), maybe he miss judged when he "repositioned it" and it fell out.;)

You had me worried with a title like that!
