Possibly unhealthy veiled chameleon need help

Hey guys my veiled is around 6 months old and right now is just laying on its wooden perch with its whole body and head just resting on it. He isnt moving at all, I haven't tried to touch him or anything cuz i dont want to stress him out. His eyes are open and moving around but he is just laying under the uvb bulb. I have the heat bulb on the other side of the cage. If anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Sounds like he is just basking. Thats what they do, chill on a branch and flop over and rest their head on the branch

How long have u had your cham ?

As they age (and urs is in his late teens to early mature, mature being around 1 year) they get moderatly lazy and majority get kinds grouchy at that age.

This is only about the 3rd day i had him but i think i have a pretty good setup for him. There are many things for him to climb on and the humidity and temp are perfect. Thanks for your reply.

He is only around 4 to 6 months old now so he is still a juvenile i am pretty sure. When he turns a year would that mean he is an adult. Thanks for the reply.

yes when he hits ayear, he is considered an adult.
However, he can keep growing a good amoutn until hes 2 years old.
