Great find. Looks really cool! Be interesting to know how much (if any) UVB can get through when you roll down the plastic cover on the roof.

Have you ordered one yet? Be good to get a review. Prices look reasonable.

I doubt any UV gets through the plastic, similar to greenhouses, or glass. I have absolutely no intention to buy one I have built a 24x24x48 enclsoure my guy isnt even in yet until he gets bigger. I came across a grow camp at a community centre I work at seen the box not assembeled and it caught my eye and was like hmmm. would be cool is someone were to try one out and give a review

just incase if people cant be bothered to follow the link, heres a pic to spark some interest on what its all about.

Looked it up and the reviews said will only last 1 to 2 seasons then parts deteriorate. No source for replacement parts. Seems like an issue but maybe someone else can check into it too
Otherwise I think it may be useable for an outdoor range.
i would also want to see if there were any "escape" points. You know how resourceful our chams are, always looking for a new place to explore.
Thanks for the post!

seen that from a review, but it was cause the velcro would deteriorate if im not mistake. I'm sure would be a pretty easy fix, especially since screen will probablt always be up make it more permanent. dont think escapes from chams may be too bad an issue not to under estimate them though. Hoping the center I work at will have it set up and can take better pics and take a good look at it. These could also be really helpful for some of us in the cooler northern parts with aiding in plant growth. Just happy others are finding it interesting like I did.

Oh I think it is a great idea. I would certainly be interested in this as a second outdoor range.
I would like to read more from someone that owns one. Since it could be a nice outdoor enclosure rather than having to build one.
I use a ferret cage which is tall for outside this way I can make sure they don't wander while I am getting the next guy outside.
It is coated metal and pretty small grid.
Anyway yesterday I tried to put my 5 month old Memphis( Memphis is over 100 grams so not small) in so I could go and get the others. I waited to make sure he was safe before I walked away and I'll be darned if he didn't squeeze his way through. I have heard too many tragic stories of chams that were left outside and wandered off never to be found.
That was why I asked about "escape" points.

Without a doubt too many tragic stories of escapes. supposedly they are sold at costco as well. At work now and was going some reviews on the products seems like extreme weather change is the main culprit as well as strong sun shrinking the plastic and what not or abused by snow. Other than the velcro on the netting nothing seems like it wouldn't work for a cham just find some way to improve that. ill try and see what it looks like when my work puts it up

Agreed I would certainly move it indoors for winter. Nice to know Costco has them. I wlll call tomorrow to see if my local one has them so I could see one.
Thanks!
I'll post anything more I find out.

This is awesome! I love this, I just wish they also came in additional sizes to be more suitable for indoors (for my situation). I love the option for the bracket to hang plants.:D

could have sworn there was a smaller one. GrowCamp Lean-to 4' x 2' x 12" with 5' High Frame. seems perfect for indoors

Costco didn't have these. At least not online.
Here are two close-up photos that show that velcro system that holds the net in place. Looks pretty secure.
Note one is an upright version.

The UV degrades the plastic cover. It eventually just crumbles apart. I used one for a greenhouse a couple years ago. It lasted one season.

For those that are handy you could probably take the design and make it with screen porch framing. That way you could roll or attach any type of screen you want. I may attempt to build one that way. If I do I'll post some pictures of the disaster lol
