Possibly Gravid?

So I have a female veiled chameleon and about 5 days ago she started to get a few yellow and blue spots on her... about 3 days ago I noticed she was on the bottom of her cage laying up against the plant pot that holds the pothos plant. I placed her in a laying bin. It has been 3 days so far in the bin and she has yet to start digging... she just sits on top of the soil.

Is the laying bin in her cage? If she just got the spots its likely too early. If she always has an opaque laying bin of washed play sand at least 12" depth by 12" by 8" in her cage she will always have a place to dig to show you when she's ready.

Yes its in her cage, I used a plant pot and filled it with moist organic potting soil.... She has a way to get out but she is just sitting in there... Does not leave it

Please help?

My panther cham is about 15-16 months old & has never laid eggs. I have been going thru these threads trying to get answers but haven't found the answers I need. I'm really afraid for her health (especially since I'm babysitting her for my son for a few months). I have an opaque Tupperware that is 8" deep & 7" in diameter. It is filled with washed beach sand (we live near the beach). It's all that would really fit in her enclosure since I have 2 pots of plants in there. I thought that when she was ready to lay I would see her in the sand digging then I would take her out & put her in a much larger container w/ sand & cover her till she was done. How do people put large enough digging containers in their enclosures? Mine is 16" X 16" X 30". She is very chubby but she has always been like that. I tried feeling for eggs, she is very cooperative but I can't tell for sure. She has NEVER set any of her cute little feet on the floor of her home. The container of sand is easy enough for her to get in (I think). She eats well & only gets dark when she is stressed. What are the colors I see people talk about in other entries? What should I do?
Please help us (Lucy & me).Thank you.
