Current Problem - A couple of days ago i took Reggie outside for the first time when i got home for work because it was so nice out. it was about 72 degrees. we were outside for a couple minuets when i noticed he started to pff at me and his mouth was starting to fill with saliva. so i took him back inside and put him back in his cage. he had saliva in his mouth and continue to pff for about 10 min. I haven't noticed him doing it since.

thinking it could be the start of a RI i decided to make a vet appointment for Monday. Now the vet I'm taking him to i took him there once before for an eye issue and the stuff he gave me for the eye seemed to work, but I'm not sure if he really is that knowledgeable. If Reggie does have an RI what medicine should the doctor prescribe? he said he has been looking at reptiles and chams for most of career, like 40 years (he is an older man), but I an a paranoid owner and would like to just be sure he really does have some good knowledge.

Thanks in advance

Another Question: What would happen if i started to give reggie baytril, even though he really doesnt have an RI
