The darker pictures where just now. The lighter one was about a week ago. I don't fees my crickets anything just feed him straight from the petstore

if your AC is broke you would probably be better off having your chameleon outside in the shade with fresh air and a breeze. I live in Florida too and I cannot imagine how hot it would be without air. I have my chams outside all the time and they do fine and I know others that keep theirs outside. I mean you have to be careful, but I think it would be less hot outside than in!

ok got to work on your gutloading too.
what your bugs eat, your cham eats.
you want to start feeding them fresh fruits an veggies.
sandrachameleon is the queen of gutload on here. when you get aminute, look at her blogs and get some info on what to feed your bugs.
you want to gutload them for at least 24 hours before feeding them off, as well as find some more bugs to feed.
no one bug should make up more than 40% of a chams diet.

I keep my guys outside a good portion of the day and like I said I know a couple of members who have multiple chams that keep them outside year round here in FLA. The cold is what you have to worry about in the winter but if it does not get below 50 then you should be ok. When I put mine outside, I cover one half of the cage with a big towel so they have complete shade. Seeing that you are home, you can go out and periodically mist the cage and him down. Provide a dripper for constant water. If you see your chameleon continually gaping(with mouth open) then you might want to reconsider keeping him out but seeing your situation with no AC in the house I think outside is the better choice right now. As far as the rain, it is not going to hurt him. I mean if it was going to be a horrible storm then I would bring him in. As long as he can take cover from the rain, he should be fine. Just make sure that you are comfortable with the security of your cage against predators.

Dude you need to feed your crickets cricket crack its easy, and healthy for your cham. I bought the 1 LBS and had it for about 3 months now and still have more than half left. http://tikitikireptiles.com/supplies.php?id=48 thats where i got mine order that ASAP and for wet i use to slices of oranges. The crickets gobble that stuff up. You should not be feeding him 15 crickets a day man thats a lot. Feed him like 8 Large ones a day. Bryan, if you put the cage outside hang a towel or other material over one side so there is always a "shade" option in the cage and soak that down every so often during the day. That will help keep things cooler. Don't be afraid to take your hose and spray the cage and towel down.

Hello everyone just got home from work and 're located the cage outside with the towel I will be coming out atleast 2 or 3 times to soak it. And I should only feed him once a day about 8 crickets? I'm going to order the cricket crack feed and provably get some super worms too. And the calcium with no D3. Does that sound about right?

Just an update, I moved him outside and when I catch him off guard his colors are nice and bright but once he seems movement he spooks and hides turns dark and won't eat maybe he's not used to the change?

It might take him a couple of days to get used to to the new location. It's not unusual for them to spook when they realize they are being watched. Mine will even stop mid bite and play statue until I leave.

I'm leaving him out for the night although I'm nervous he needs to adapt to his environment. He didn't eat at all today.

Just give him some time man. He'll eat, he has to eventually. keep doing what you're doing be interactive with him. It's the only way he will get used to certain things. For the calcium I use Repashy Calcium plus every other day on my crickets. Some times you might see some white crusty stuff on your chams nose which is ok but it means there is too much calcium so just lay off a little if you see this.
