Possible Fungus

Hi everyone, I saw the update on Rex and just thought I'd ask about some white stuff thats been on my chameleons head for a few weeks.

As you can see from the picture on some of the spikes behind his eyes he has some white stuff. This picture was taken a week ago, it looks about the same now. Also in the middle of the V on top of his head, he has some white stuff as well. I thought it may have just been a little stubborn skin, or that maybe he was about to shed.

I'm not too terribly worried about it, but if it is fungus. How fast does it usually spread? Is there anything I should do while waiting such as a bath?

Thanks everyone =)

Does it rub off? Try rubbing with a moist piece of cloth or a Q tip. Do you have hard water? Might be mineral deposits where spray droplets evaporate. I'm not totally certain I see what you are talking about but it doesn't look serious. That area of the skin isn't very flexible so sometimes bits of old shed don't get removed as easily.
