Just rescued a little female Jackson cham from the same place I saved my male. I named her Miff but the only concern I had for her was that she had a weird deformity that the store owners knew nothing about, (didn't even know she was a female and alot of other poor practices were being preformed on her etc..poor baby) But her back is completely twisted up. in a very odd position. I couldn't let some unexperienced person take her home and try to rasie her up being that she is going to have eggs and they probably won't even know what to do or care to do it right. I'm quite concerned for her future though with laying eggs with this twisted back. What do you think may be the cause? I'm hoping not MBD and I'm thinking that probably wouldn't be the case, I'm thinking more along the lines of birth defect??
Any ideas? BTW the last pic i just threw in cause its cute.
