never minding the orange in his poop, being as it is already being rectified, should I be concerned with this form of poop. He has been having an exceptional increase in hornworms these last couple of weeks (like a ton of hornworms). So I'm wondering if that is the reason for the slime poop? Or should I maybe get a fecal done?

Good to know. I was really hoping it had nothing to do with parasites. He had a tone when I first got him as a baby and they literally took forever to get rid of.

when mine eat hornworms they get runny. As long as you get the white cap I wouldn't worry about it that much try to reduce the horn worms and see what it looks like after crickets(y) or I can look after him for a little while:ROFLMAO:. How long can I keep this joke up:ROFLMAO:

I guess the joke can last up till my sudden and abrupt death where I would be FORCED into giving him up.

Hi @CharlieCharmingo! I was searching the forums because I was picking up poop in my cage today and noticed that the freshest poop i grabbed had a slight orange color urates. It's pretty much identical to yours. There was no solid spots that were yellow or orange like i've seen in others' posts. Just an overall shade. I assume this is a dehydration issue? If not, what did you do to rectify your problem? Should i even be concerned about that? FYI, I run a MistKing 5 times a day, 2 at 45 seconds in the AM, then a 2 minute sesh at noon, and 2 more 45 seconds sessions after that. Because this might be a dehydration issue, I bumped it all up from 45 seconds to 1 minute and the 2 minutes to 3 minutes.

Does he drink in those 45 seconds? Mines is a very slow drinker. His misting sessions are anywhere from 5 to 35 minutes. It used to be like a quick 5-10 minute session and I would see him drink, but the older he gets the weirder his water habits get. So 5 to 35 minutes three to four times a day. That definitely made him drink more. So maybe just increase your chams mist times to a couple of minutes.
If you are taking about the slime look of his poop, then that comes from too many hornworms. Tony loves hornworms and I love giving them to him so that was the result of that.
Hope this helped?
