poop problems?

When my girl pooped yesterday a big portion of her insides stayed on the outside and swollen. I have seen this happen before but it has always gone back inside after a few minutes. It is even more swollen today and it seems even more is bulging out. Does anyone have any idea what this could be or what I should do?

Are you sure she's a girl? If she is truly a girl, she's having a prolapse and it is not normal and she should be seen by a vet.

She could also be a male if you are unsure, males sometimes invert their hemipenes to clean them and sometimes they do not retract correctly. This can sometimes be solved without seeing a vet by soaking it in cool sugar water. However if you are SURE it's a girl it is her cloaca that has probably prolapsed and that needs to be fixed by a vet.

Edit: I say that you shouldn't use the sugar water if she is a girl, because she has been doing this repetitively and it will likely continue to happen until she is seen by a vet.

I'm pretty sure she's a girl.... She does not have those spurs on her feet.

Until you can see the vet, if you can't take her to an emergency clinic, because I do know how expensive and especially how hard it is to find one that does exotics, put ky jelly on the area until then to keep it moist. The prolapse MUST NOT dry out or else it will become necrotic and she will most likely need to be put to sleep. She probably isn't feeling well at all. Keep her calm as possible, and the less movement she does the better, tearing the flesh on a rough surface is very possible and can cause some severe bleeding depending on the placement of the blood vessels.

Just keep her safe and relaxed, I don't think you want to change her cage at all, it would add too much stress, unless you can't get an appointment for a long long time. Let us know when you can make the appointment for. Then we can advise from there. If it's too long of a wait you may want to try the sugar water thing, but it's usually best for a vet to be able to stitch her in place if she is doing it often.

This is a medical emergency and she needs to see a vet asap!!!!!
The area does need to be kept moist with k-y jelly as was suggested.
