Poop i havent seen....

Never mind the mess. I had a plant spill lol. But yeah Spike pooped this today and the only thing I can think of it's because he just had Silkworms his last couple feedings and he hasn't had them since last year.

However, he used to ALWAYS get Silkworms and his poop has never looked like this.

Is there antything to worry about with this?

That’s a poo? Very odd…looks more like a huge urate, but even then. I would be watching the poos for repeats or other abnormality & get a fecal if anything else.

Well.... I'm assuming. Since the tip of it is clearly a urate IMO. But I really have no idea. I'll keep monitoring him and see if he does it again or if he shows any signs of anything. so far he seems totally fine.

I wonder if its just a huge urate because we've had a lot of rain lately, which has helped with his humidity being real high at night, and then he's getting silkworms on top of it now. I'll update when I have an update. Thank you!

Naw Spike just "peed". Happens all the time around here. Normally you get poo along with the urate, but if its high caterpillar time, there is more water going in the pie hole vs solids, so the end result is...

Thank you! I was a little worried. I was thinking this but.... he's NEVER done it before. So it just struck me as odd. It makes sense though. It's been a while since he had them and now he's diving right into them lol I appreciate the clarification.

When I fed a lot of hornworms, this is what Namul does too. Only when I fed lots of hornworms. I thought it meant he’s beyond hydrated. LOL
