Plz Help!!!

Hi,i just bought a Veild cham and its the 1st time that i have one.i was wondering if someone can answer my questions wich they are:
1.how can i see if its male/female?
2.how to find out hes/shes age?
3.how can i aprroach my cham?coz everytime i try to touch him hes/shes very afraid and stands back.
Plz someone help me.

Congrats on your new veiled and welcome to the forums. The above link will help you to get started with your new veiled.

If it's a male he will have spurs (a little bump) on the heels of his back feet.

Post some pictures and some measurements from nose to vent (base of tail) and we can try to help you guess the age.

It takes a new cham awhile to settle in. I wouldn't try to mess with him/her much at first. In a few days you can try to hand feed. Always move very slow when you are around your cham and don't wear bright colors, they usually hate red.
