Just a little plexiglas reflection story for you;
My first veiled was not overly aggressive (this was back in the F1 cbb generation days), but he really reacted to his reflection on the cage plexi, on chrome kick panels on appliances, to mirrors, window reflections, you name it. He knew where these intruders lurked around the house and went on patrol to find and threaten them each time I let him out.
I put some cardboard over one particular cage panel, but he would pull the board away from the glass and peer down behind it because he just knew his enemy was lurking there somewhere!
Different species, cute story though:
A large melleri I rescued had free range of my house. "She" had a route through the living room she usually stuck to...across the floor to the kitchen, take a short rest on the fan housing on the back of the fridge, toast herself on the plant stand in the west window, on her way back to her tree climbed over the couch (she always walked around it on the way out), and stop at the glass stereo cabinet to confront the melleri who always seemed to be there. Flapping, inflating, hissing, pawing, then when that had no effect she'd walk around to the back of the cabinet to corner that intruder who never seemed to get her message.
