Hello,

Can someone help me understand the decimalization...if that's a word...that is placed after a chameleon. I.E. Furcifer Pardalis 2.3 I think it has something to do with what generation the animal is...though I'm not sure.

It refers to what sexes and how many of each you have. The numbers correspond to male.female.unknown sex. So if you say 2.1.4 Pardalis it means you have 2 male, 1 female, and 4 unknown sex pardalis chameleons.
