hello,
Just looking for a little help here, I have a FEMALE Veiled Chameleon
Age; about 1year and 1/2
I have had her for almost 2years now
She is about a foot long
She sheds about every 2-3 months since i had her
She had laid 4 batches of eggs (around 60 to 70 eggs per clutch)
I keep her in a in-closer with one heating lamp 150 watt and another just for lighting, she has 12 hours of light/heat and 12 hours of night.
I feed her crickets (mainly) & sometimes Goliath worms and Silk worms,,
I never had this problem with her other than this one time she broke her arm and was in to much pain she didnt want to move or eat, but her arm is healed and perfect now.

Recently she hasn't been moving or wanting to eat anything! (normaly she'll demolish Goliath worms/ Silk worms but she dont even try) :( she has been very sluggish, while her lights are on she'll keep her eyes closed and just keep her face and body limp barley even holding on to her branches. Im really not to sure on how much water she has been drinking but i had just force fed her water with some "electrolyte & vitamin D3'' (2drops per 30ml) i had gave her this before while she had a broken arm and it seemed to help alot. Also i noticed the past 2 days she has been hanging just on her back legs with her body hanging down... not sure if that is a sign of something or not... Can someone PLEASE help me out here,,, im really not sure what to do :(
help help help!!

Sounds like a vet visit is in order, and quickly.
It could be a lot of things but she could be having issues laying eggs, a condition known as egg binding that is fatal unless medical help is used to intervene. It could be a couple other things as well but I would go to a vet immediately if possible.

Has she had access to a laying bin?

Do you have a UVB light for her? You didn't really mention one so I don't know. How new is it?

Has her supplementation always contained vitamin D3? If so, how often is she getting this?

her light that i mentioned for lighting is actually a UVB light and bout every serving or crickets i dust them with calcium and vitamins... &yes she has a bin for laying her eggs in, i've have it in there mainly all the time just incase! Also forgot to mention she had just laid a clutch of egg about 3weeks ago and after that she started to act like this, i really hope she is not egg bounded i read all about it on a few site but it just might be.. And with xmas just around the corner its been really hard for me to take her to a vet, i just feel really bad ive been trying everything to help her get in good condition but it seems like she's just getting worse.. :( shes barely moving at all and she is just so weak,

What are her cage temps like? 150 watt heat lamp? Seems way too much. The warmer temps will cause more frequent egg laying and this may shorten her lifespan considerably. When was the last time the UVB bulb was changed? Most will only be good for about 6 months. I hate to say it, but a vet visit is in order. Many vets will agree to a payment plan if you ask! Hope she gets better soon!
