It happens... Has he been screen climbing a lot?

Does not look like it is bleeding so that is good. Do you have any plain neosporin? The regular version that does NOT have the additional pain med added? You could take a qtip and apply a wee bit to the broken nail.

Typically they lose a nail due to screen climbing or getting it caught on something you have in the enclosure. Are you using any sort of fake rope material or hammocks?

So the hanging ladder could be an issue. If he got his nail caught in the binding cord on it. He is getting too large for the enclosure. So pacing more and potential damage to the nails can happen.

Just keep an eye on it. Most of the time they are fine. If you see swelling of the toe or oozing then he needs a reptile vet.
